I have never seen a pullout couch that looks as comfortable as the one that is featured here. It looks so cushiony that I am feeling inclined to just call it a bed, with the couch being secondary. I really think that is the way it should be. If people are willing to buy a couch because of its ability to be used as a bed, or a futon which is unable to fulfill the role of either a couch or a mattress satisfactorily, then why not just have a bed in the living room that can be converted into a disappointing couch?

I spend more time sleeping on a bed than I do sitting on a couch anyway, so I would rather have the former be more comfortable. I think the only reason that people are hesitant to put a bed in their living is because of the implication. The first time you have a couple over they are going to think you ar trying to have an orgy with them. Now, that is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does need to be the right couple. That would make for an awkward moment when you have the in-laws over.
