Bathing suits were not just an invention by the patriarchy, ladies. They are a protective garment for that very reason. They keep the sand out of the delicate areas, leaving everyone free to enjoy their day frolicking at the beach.

The lack of swimsuits is the reason why no one at nude beaches is ever smiling. One would think that because they are uninhibited by clothing and get to stare at naked people guilt free that they would look a tad bit happier. But they never are.

If I was in that position I would be grinning from ear to ear continuously. It wouldn’t even matter if there were any attractive people around. But the moment I got some sand in my crack that smile would turn into a scowl. It is impossible to be happy when one is essentially removing their body hair through the use of an abrasive. It just can’t happen. That is why we invented razorblades and wax. If there needs to be pain involved, it is best if it happens fast.
