BIRTHDAY SUIT: Jane Fonda’s 5-Star Nude Stuff From “Barbarella” To Celebrate Her Special Day

Jane Fonda has been old for a long time. Like, a long time. So long, in fact, that it is hard to imagine she was ever a young woman. Seeing the stills from Barbarella prove that not only was she young at one point in time, but she was also a stone cold stunner.

For Barbarella it looks like Jane’s hair weighed more than the rest of her body, but it was the ‘60s when that sort of thing was normal. And weighing more than Jane is probably not such an insurmountable feat. Her body is so petite and pe-tight that she was the equivalent to a present day woman’s leg. I’ll just chalk that up to inflation though.

I have never seen Barbarella, so I cannot give you a rundown of the plot, but I don’t think this is the type of movie where a plot matters. Clearly the big selling point was Jane Fonda in space, so I assume they cut corners in other areas. Like, I bet there wasn’t a single scene that was filmed on location in space. A studio can’t get away with that kind of laziness today.
