Charlie Riina’s “Best Of for 138 Water!

Some of you old time Egotastic fans and followers will probably remember a time not so long ago, when a water brand called 138 Los Angeles started getting product placement in all kinds of paparazzi shoots on the beaches of LA, with all kinds of random models and babes you may or may not have heard of.

They were one part water company, one part talent sourcing agency, because they'd introduce us to all kinds of random babes, some who have gone onto big things, but who even then were pretty sophisticated on social media hustling.

In an era of influencer marketing, where brands go direct to models with big followers on social media as the default tool, it's hard to believe that no one was really doing it, but brands like 138 who were merging the old school paparazzi with the glamour model shots with social media babes were, and it was impressive and a wonderful time!

The brand is celebrating their 10 years of being around, which is definitely an accomplishment and we've been lucky enough to receive a retrospective of some of their legacy work, today with Charlie Riina, who was a Playboy model at the time and who is now a Real Estate Broker in Toronto Canada.
