Thank you, Iskra, for reminding me that I need to change my phone carrier. I simply do not get enough bars anymore, and that is unacceptable in this day and age. How is it that I can still live in a dead zone? Cell phones have been around for a few decades now and the service has only been expanding. Even the Appalachian mountain men should be having full service by now, and yet somehow despite me living in a major city it still feels like I am only a step above a couple of tin cans connected by a string.
Perhaps some of the blame lies on me because I do use a budget service. But in my defense, after a series of poor relationships with service providers, through no fault of my own, I am now boycotting the majority of the major ones.
It is tough staying principled. My options keep getting smaller. How long is a person supposed to carry a grudge against a company anyway? It seems like we forgave those tuna companies awhile back for killing dolphins, so maybe I am already passed the standard timeframe for some and I can start circling back around.
