READER FIND: Elizabeth Debicki’s Sextastic Nudity In “The Night Manager”

Elizabeth Debicki has the look of a younger Tilda Swinton. That is to say that she intimidates me and makes me worry about the condition of my body after a night of thrashing about in the sheets. She looks so damn proper that I was surprised she would even get nude on screen, then I found out that Tom Hiddleston was in that show and it all started to make sense. I bet my grandma would get nude on screen if it meant she got to kiss that adorable little Viking god, not that the show would get very good reviews.

Elizabeth looks like the kind of woman who does not even use first names because they are too familiar. I bet she would call me Mr. Vallon, but it would not feel like a sign of respect. It would feel more like the way Mr. Feeney called his students by their last names in Boy Meets World. Those kids were anything but empowered during that show’s run.

Maybe I should start calling people by their last names? It would probably go over better than calling my coworkers dipshits like I normally do.
