See, that is the problem with words. They are too old fashioned. If words want to survive then they are going to need to get with the times. This is why kids these days are rebelling and changing the way they send text messages. And as it often goes with rebellions, they are not only getting rid of silent letters, they are getting rid of vowels all together. They are getting rid of whole sentences and simply giving them a few letters as an acronym. It is complete anarchy, but words only have themselves to blame.

Had they revamped their style then maybe they would still be considered hip and relevant. Instead they are increasingly being seen as something for grandparents. I would not be surprised if words got phased out entirely in the next generation and everyone switched to telepathy.
