Chloe Heaver Goes For A Topless Dip In “Welcome To Curiosity”

Welcome to Curiosity is the world’s first film to have its budget raised entirely through crowdfunding. I don’t know why that is. It seems like a pretty easy task to get a bunch of pervs to pool their money together to make a film with naked chicks in it. It makes me wonder why so many other films struggle to find funding. They must still be under the delusion that they are trying to make art rather than a smut film.

All amateur film makers should be inspired by this achievement. No longer will they have to fight their way into the Hollywood system, or smoke their way into the indie scene. Now getting a movie produced is as easy as making an alternative twitter account because your other ones have all been banned due to harassment. I’m not speaking from experience.

My guess is that, just like with everything else on the internet, porn is going to become the dominant genre in crowdfunded films in less than five years’ time. The saying used to be, “Give the people what they want.” Now they can give themselves what they want.
